The first video update from Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups will be released on Yash's birthday, January 8, 2026, for those who are fervently awaiting the trailer and teaser.
After the release of KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022, Yash's next movie is Toxic. The film, which was directed by Geetu Mohandas, features celebrities from Bollywood and South India.
On Thursday, the producers revealed a "tease" from Toxic rather than a trailer or teaser. Tomorrow at 10.10 am, the first trailer for Yash's movie will be released. The movie's March 19 release will coincide with Bollywood's Dhurandhar Part 2. Look at this:
Dhurandhar is being released in two parts and did incredibly well at the box office. Dhurandhar Part 2 will be released on March 19, 2026, Eid 2026, whereas the first part was released on December 5. Yash's Toxic from the South will be a rival.
Yash is the lead in the historical gangster drama Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair are among the film's outstanding ensemble cast members. Toxic, which was jointly funded by KVN Productions and Yash's own company, Monster Mind Creations, is already being hailed as one of the most anticipated and talked-about Indian films for 2026.
Yash discussed the title with The Hollywood Reporter, saying, "We have fairy tales for kids, but nobody is making fairy tales for adults." So we decided to write a fairy tale for adults. The tagline was my idea. Both the title and the tagline struck me as being extremely pertinent. There are many misunderstandings in today's world, and the term "toxic" has multiple meanings. It is employed in numerous situations. In many ways, we are all living in extremely toxic environments. I therefore felt that the title was appropriate for the movie and highly pertinent.
In addition to Toxic, Yash will make his Bollywood debut as Ravana in the Ramayana.
